6th graders this week participated in the South Coast Science Project where they explored transfer of energy and matter. The goal was to design an icebox to preserve an ice swan sculpture. The students had a BLAST working in groups as they tested and designed their insulated boxes! (Photo credit to Mrs. Olson)
